Hello all. Here are some prayer items to highlight for ya all. Do pray for them in your free time.

1. Coming SAND concert on 15th of May. It's evangelisticin nature! It'll be held in our church btw.
2. Coming GDOP. Our youth are also the flag bearers so that's encouraging. Pray for the preparation of our hearts to pray and intercede for the nation and for the world
3. Pray for our church leaders and the pastoral staff. That God will protect them and their families and keep them strong in the faith.
4. Pray for coming CUG, of course! Last Fridays lesson was very interesting and i think we learned alot from it. Pray for an open mind and of course, proper prepartion from our speaker(I forgot his name!! aaAAaaAA!)
5. Pray for the exams many of our members are having now, mainly the A-lvls students.
6. Pray for our well-being, that's right all of us that God will keep us strong and healthy both in body and spirit!

Woah, i love the reading Exodus marathon idea. But I think its rather uncommon among Christians(as in Catholics and protestants) I think its only common in the Jewish community. So yes, i believe alot of people will sleep unless they know how to 'experience' the history of our early chosen people, the Jews. I would be more in for the bible study or the movie idea. Actually, my dad has gotten the show Old Dogs and its really fun but not good showing pirated shows =_= Bad example lar.

Hey Kay Aun, you probably have this covered but just in case- for the transport arrangement we might have an excess of drivers. It'll be good if we can settle asap so those who are not driving (especially those who Pr Aaron has talked to help us) will know.

update on lodging- since there are 12 girls i was thinking of putting the 12 girls in3 rooms i cant really remember how big it is but if possible i'll try to cram them into 2 rooms while the guyswill sleep in the hall. if it is too cram we can spill over to uncle aaron apartment where he can spare a room and we can crash in the living room. I wont be there in the morning. So was wondering shen yen and bob rick can u jus make sure that everyone is comfortable and have enough place wat i posted is the general idea i think shud b able to accommodate everyone but jus help me make sure n if u have to change the arrangement go ahead ok??? yea i dun really wan to fix the ppl in the rooms jus as long as everyone is comfortable and the sleep wiff the same gender^_^ can??

I know I've been mia for a while, but Im fired up once again to serve. Just before that, I've a short announcement. Due to a class forum on Friday from 10am-12pm (that carries marks), I've to leave for camp at a later time. I'll be following Ern at 5pm to the campsite.

I'm know that its quite sudden notice, but I'll try my best to assist those who are going, at least with stuff that can be prepared prior to the camp.

It's back to CUG this week!!! Hmm.... I agree with Wern Ming about the books of the Bible thing and no fixed grouping.... Except that there should be a break from bible study every month? that is our structure right? three weeks Bible study and one week free night? erm....maybe we ought to make the studies more practical and applicable to the lives of the young people.... sorry, but I kinda found some of the bible studies quite boring and inapplicable...I think if I found them like that... wont be surprised if others find it the same....

Its back to work now.

Firstly, I would prefer doing books of the bible rather than topics, sorta let the topics come as we peroceed thru the book. Seems more wholesome that way. Furthermore, the planning for what topic to do each week or month is difficult to be determinded.

Next, I prefer the groups to not be fixed. Coz that means you're in a slightly different group each week. On the other hand, people might always group with the people they're comfortable during discusssions if they're free to choose. If there's a fixed grouping, it might be a bit imbalnced due to attendance issues.

I'm still thinking of structure. Other than the current structure CUG has, I cant think of anything else that would be remotely feasible.

good job on camp!!!! yea Wern Ming did a good job leading all of us!!! i know many of u guys are having exams now....... study hard and do well for the glory of God k^_^ yes but despite the fact that we all are busy we all still have resposibility k!!!
i had a talk wiff pastor aaron we discussed a few things. among the things we discussed were meeting up as a committee to plan for the new year but i told him u all will be having exams until 1feb so the solutions was making decision and plannin online via the blog. SO please check and REPLY regularly!!!!

Some issues we discussed were
1) wat kind of bible study topics would we rather have as in doin books of the bible or ratherr do bible study base on topics

2) how bible study to b done......whether in fixed groups or not

3) any plans or structures for CUG in the new year

think about it and do share your thoughts. oh i might not b able to make it on friday cause i will only come back from bali on friday
